Hello...
My name is Aga and I'm a mom of a little boy. When I was pregnant
a very good friend of mine organized a baby shower for me. There
was cake and games, lots of fun and usable and much needed gifts.
Few
years later when my sister announced she's having a baby, her
mother in law and I decided to throw her a shower. Everything
had to be pink since she was having a girl. When it came to
a gift, I didn't want to just buy something off of her registry,
I wanted to get her something special. Being crafty and creative
I decided to make her a diaper cake. I was so proud of it when
it was completed.
I
made a 3 tier cake, used 120 Huggies diapers, 3 Carters receiving
blankets, 2 bottles, little pink and brown leather baby girl
shoes and one of the hand print kits. Decorated it with layers
of grosgrain ribbon, hand-painted wood flowers and butterflies.
The cake came out awesome and received many complements at the
shower. My sister loved her unusual gift too.
Since
then I made many more custom diaper cakes and that's how Thirsty
Cake started. I've shipped my cakes to all of the states and
received many compliments and great feedbacks from my customers.
My
website offers many different examples of already "baked"
cakes and I also make a lot custom ones. Any colors, themes,
sizes. One of my customers send me a feedback saying: "My
Alice in Wonderland cake is perfect and beyond expectations!
Better than I ever imagined!!! The details alone with the flamingos
and cards are just amazing! I am so happy I found you! I hope
to have another baby in 2012 so we might need another diaper
cake then! I know where to find it since you can achieve my
perfect idea of what I wanted! Thanks again!!"
